SIGHT FLOW GLASS / INDICATOR :

Sight flow indicator is a device installed in the pipe & which provides a means of verifying the flow direction & the approximate flow. The ability to see what is happening inside the pipe is very useful for the process operators. This is a very simple & cost effective device & provides a means to the operators to observe color & clarity of process fluids through the window.

FLAME ARRESTORS :

A flame arrestor (also spelled arrester) is a device that stops fuel combustion by extinguishing the flame. It allows gas and vapour to pass through but stops a flame in order to prevent a larger fire or explosion. There is an enormous variety of situations in which flame arrestors can be applied to decrease risk and improve the safety aspects. For example they can be used in fuel storage tank vents and fuel gas pipelines.

These products are usually divided into detonation and deflagration flame arrestors. Basically, the difference in the construction of the two devices has to do with the speed of the flame front that can develop inside the pipe. Any flame front that is travelling faster than the speed of sound is said to be a detonation while anything slower is termed a deflagration.

End of line flame arrestors
End of the line flame arrestors are used at the opening of a tank or a system to the atmosphere.

In line flame arrestors
Used in the pipeline of an application. Intended for pipeline installation close to the source of any potential ignition source by minimizing flame speed and the development of an explosive pressure.

ORIFICE PLATE / FLANGE ASSEMBLY :

The use of the orifice flange assembly negates the requirement for further pipe drilling ensuring the quality of the tapping to ISO 5167-2 and minimizing the errors of the system. Although the weld beads and condition of the upstream piping should be considered when assessing the overall accuracy of the flow meter.

The traditional orifice flange assembly consists of a pair of flanges, orifice plate, bolts, nuts, gaskets, jacking screws and plugs, (where requested). The flanges are generally weld neck design. Other options are available such as Slip-on and threaded, although careful consideration should be taken in the location of the orifice tapings with these designs.

These devices are low maintenance with no moving parts and considered an economical, cost effective flow measurement solution for many gas, liquid and steam applications.
